After an incredible season with another trip to the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship, we would like to thank Longhorn Nation for its collective passion, commitment, and pride in our team. 2013 was a banner year for the Horns and the best is yet to come.
This season, Longhorns fans filled the Horns' House to the limit, selling out Gregory Gym a record seven times. It all began with the Nike Big Four Classic, the nation's premiere college volleyball tournament, when the Longhorns took down No. 1 Penn State and No. 2 Stanford in consecutive days to kickoff the 2013 home campaign. After defeating former Big 12 rival Nebraska to conclude its non-conference slate, Texas began its quest to do something it had never achieved -- an undefeated Big 12 season. One-by-one, the Longhorns took down their conference competition, only losing seven sets en route to a perfect 16-0 Big 12 Championship. Every step of the way, our fans were with us chanting "We Are Texas!" and "Point Texas!"
