DALLAS, Texas – The Texas diving program wrapped up NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on Wednesday afternoon with the platform competition at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium on the campus on SMU in Dallas.
Freshman Janie Boyle led the Longhorns with a third-place finish, scoring a 533.65 over 10 dives. Paola Pineda and Jordan Skilken also qualified for NCAAs as they finished fourth and seventh, respectively. Pineda trailed Boyle with a 525.10 score, while Skilken score a 507.40.
Pineda has now qualified for the 1m, 3m and platform competitions at the NCAA Championships.
Jordan Windle went three for three at Zone D Championships, claiming his third title in as many days as he scored a meet-best 927.15 in the platform competition.
Senior Jacob Cornish qualified for his third event at NCAAs after finishing second behind Windle with a score of 801.45. Freshman Andrew Harness also qualified for his third event, coming in seventh at 668.60.
